Allied Arts of Whatcom County invites you to our exhibit Of the Land, From the Land. This installment will include pieces by John Hoyte, Lori Hill Sterling Rung, Belinda Botzong, and Liz Cunningham. Their work brings perspective on nature and our relationships with it, through such media as watercolor, acrylic, photography, found objects, and beadwork.

Starring over 80 local artisans and craftspeople presenting their holiday goodies - one-of-a-kind gifts, specialty food and treats, stunning jewelry, paintings, prints, cards, and more! Encore screening of "Daughter of a Lost Bird"

When: 5pm, Nov. 14th, 2022 Where: Pickford Film Center, 1318 Bay St, Bellingham
CASCADIA International Women's Film Festival is presenting an encore screening of "Daughter of a Lost Bird" in observance of Native American Heritage month. The 67-minute film follows the story of Kendra Mylnechuk Potter who was adopted into a white family and raised with no knowledge of her Native parentage. This beautiful and intimate film follows Kendra on her journey to find her birth mother and return to her Lummi homelands.
The film will also screen online Nov. 17th - Nov. 20th & Nov. 24th - Nov. 27th

Kristi Mosley, creator of Lotus Wise, will be sharing her art and goodies at Fairhaven's November artwalk! Come and indulge in an evening of visual delights, yummy savories from the Cafe and celebrate the kick-off of Fairhaven's Winterfest. Evolve is located on the top floor of Village Books. Take the stairs or the elevator and journey to the top floor and enjoy the view!

City Seeks Proposals for Underpass Artwork
|

Due Date: December 2, 2022
The City of Bellingham has announced an opportunity for an artist or artist team to design and install a large-scale mural at an underpass on Birchwood Avenue, as part of the City's One Percent for the Arts program. The City is interested in artwork that would be painted on each of the eight large pillars as well as along the retaining wall adjacent to Birchwood Avenue.
